One of the highlights of today was the successfully transportation of a Roma tomato in the handlebar bag (Captain’s brainwave). We bought rolls and kept some lettuce from last night’s dinner to eat for lunch somewhere along the way. The precious tomato was held securely and was a delicious complement.
We had lots of enjoyable flattish riding today, although, true to form, Tassie threw in some more hills for us as we made our way to the coast and the ferry.
The biggest highlight has to be our tent site! We booked a powered tent site with an ensuite and man, is it good! The only downfall was the inability to get from the tent to the ensuite in appropriate garb!
Our tuna curry dinner went down nicely and sleep time beckons by 7:30, ready for our ‘greatly taxing’ 9 hour boat trip tomorrow.
